Our Story
Throughout my life I have always had a strong passion for all animals big or small. While some kids were playing toys or riding bikes you would find me reading a book on animals or spending time with them in my spare time. As I was very fascinated with the creatures that lived amongst us I always wanted to be in their presence. From childhood to adolescent to adulthood that love and passion has not ceased in fact, it only grew!
Though I have a deep love for all of God's creatures there was something far different with one particular animal. The Dachshund holds a very special place in my heart. That love began back in 2017 when I acquired my very first dachshund named Winnie. She was a true definition of a man's best friend! She was very spunky yet sweet, playful, loving and loyal. Fast forward to 2018 I obtained my second Dachshund named Riley he was a lover boy whom showered me with unconditional love. Both together were the perfect duo and companions for me. I became so eager to learn as much as I could about this amazing breed. I just knew I wanted to share my new found love and passion with others. So I became a hobby breeder however, I quickly realized there was far more to breeding than what I had thought.
In 2019 I met my dear husband and that's when my passion took a huge turn. Together we both realized we wanted not just to be a hobby breeder but, to breed with purpose and that's when D&C Royal Dachshunds was born. We started focusing on quality, genetic traits, characteristics, coat types, dietary needs etc.. different ways that we could contribute to bettering the breed. We wanted to stand apart from all the unethical breeders that did not share the same passion nor purpose we did. So we made it a goal to do just that our focus surrounded our dogs/puppies health and overall wellbeing. That way when you choose a dachshund from us you'll see for yourself the quality, time and efforts spent into each and every single one of our puppies and what makes them a Royal Dachshund!
Our Goal
We take pride in raising quality, loving, friendly puppies that embark the true characteristics of the dachshund. That is why they are solely bred and raised in our home. So that we as a family of 7 can be hands on with all of our fur babies from early on. We put an immense amount of money, time and energy into each of our dogs and puppies that it reflects in their personalities.
Our Vision
Our dogs and puppies are a huge part of our family which is why we want nothing but the best for them whether here with us or when then go to their new homes. That is why we want to ensure that our puppy is the right fit for YOU and YOU for them.
