Our Story
My love for animals began long before D&C Royal Dachshunds. From childhood, I was happiest surrounded by animals and learning everything I could about them. But in 2017, one little Dachshund named Winnie completely stole my heart. Her spunky, loving and loyal personality introduced me to a breed unlike any other. Soon after came Riley, and my love for Dachshunds only grew.
What began as a passion soon became something much greater. Together as a family, we created D&C Royal Dachshunds with the desire to raise Dachshunds with purpose—placing health, temperament, quality and the overall well-being of our dogs and puppies at the heart of our program.
Today, we remain a small, family-operated breeding program. Our puppies are born and raised in our home, surrounded by our family and given individual love, care and attention from their very first days.
For us, raising Dachshunds has never simply been about producing puppies. It’s about sharing the breed we fell in love with and raising each puppy with the care and devotion worthy of being called a D&C Royal Dachshund.
Our Goal
Our goal at D&C Royal Dachshunds is simple: to raise beautiful, healthy, well-rounded Dachshunds who will be deeply loved and cherished members of their families.
Every pairing is thoughtfully planned with careful consideration given to health, temperament, structure, and pedigree. We strive to preserve the qualities that make the Dachshund so special while continuing to strengthen and improve our program with each generation.
As a small, family-operated breeding program, we believe quality should always come before quantity. Our puppies are raised in our home with individualized care, early socialization, and plenty of love, helping give them a strong foundation before beginning their lives with their new families.
Above all, our goal isn’t simply to find homes for our puppies—it is to find the right homes and create lasting relationships with the families who become part of the D&C Royal family.
