Welcome to D&C Royal Dachshunds, LLC. By accessing our website, submitting a puppy application, placing a reservation deposit, or purchasing a puppy, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions, subject to applicable law. We are a privately operated Dachshund breeding program located in Arizona, dedicated to raising quality Dachshunds with an emphasis on health, temperament, responsible breeding practices, and exceptional care.
1. Puppy Availability & Reservations
All puppies are offered subject to availability and breeder approval.
Submitting an inquiry or application does not guarantee approval or reserve a particular puppy.
A puppy is considered reserved only after D&C Royal Dachshunds has approved the placement, confirmed the puppy's availability, and received the required reservation deposit. D&C Royal Dachshunds reserves the right to decline a placement when we reasonably determine that it would not be in the puppy's best interest.
2. Reservation Deposits & Refund Policy
Reservation deposits are intended to secure a selected puppy and compensate D&C Royal Dachshunds for removing that puppy from active availability, declining other prospective buyers, and providing individualized reservation services.
All reservation deposits are non-refundable when a buyer voluntarily cancels, changes their mind, experiences a change in personal or financial circumstances, or otherwise chooses not to complete the purchase, except as required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing.
Reservation deposits may be transferred toward another available puppy only with written approval from D&C Royal Dachshunds.
A deposit does not guarantee a specific delivery date, adult size, coat appearance, or temperament.
If D&C Royal Dachshunds is unable to provide the reserved puppy, the buyer will be offered an appropriate alternative or a refund of payments made toward the unavailable puppy, unless a different lawful arrangement is mutually agreed upon.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights.
3. Puppy Pricing & Final Payments
Puppy pricing varies based on pedigree, characteristics, and individual placement arrangements.
The agreed purchase price will be confirmed in writing before payment.
All remaining balances must be paid in full and cleared before a puppy is released to its new owner.
D&C Royal Dachshunds accepts approved electronic payment methods, which may include credit cards, debit cards, ACH bank transfers, and third-party payment platforms. Applicable transaction fees, transportation expenses, and taxes will be disclosed before payment when required.
Payments must be made only through payment instructions authorized by D&C Royal Dachshunds.
4. Payment Authorization & Disputes
By submitting payment, the buyer represents that they are authorized to use the selected payment method and agrees to the disclosed purchase terms. Buyers are encouraged to contact D&C Royal Dachshunds directly regarding billing questions, cancellations, or transaction concerns so that reasonable efforts can be made to resolve the matter promptly Royal Dachshunds maintains transaction records, communications, reservation confirmations, purchase agreements, and other relevant documentation to verify legitimate transactions. In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, D&C Royal Dachshunds may provide relevant transaction evidence to the payment processor or financial institution. Nothing in these Terms restricts a buyer's legal right to dispute unauthorized or otherwise disputable transactions.
5. Health Examinations & Veterinary Care
Our puppies receive age-appropriate care, veterinary attention, deworming, and vaccinations in accordance with our established care protocols and veterinary recommendations. Buyers are responsible for arranging a veterinary examination within 72 hours (three days) of receiving their puppy, as required by our purchase agreement, while retaining any additional rights provided by applicable law.
Buyers must promptly notify D&C Royal Dachshunds in writing of any significant health concerns and provide relevant veterinary documentation. Because puppies are living animals, no breeder can guarantee lifelong freedom from illness, parasites, injury, or every potential medical condition.
6. Intestinal Parasites & Communicable Illnesses
Intestinal parasites, including Giardia, coccidia, and intestinal worms, may occur in puppies despite routine preventive care, proper sanitation, and veterinary guidance. Some puppies may carry intestinal organisms without displaying symptoms.
D&C Royal Dachshunds follows veterinary recommendations regarding parasite prevention, treatment, and diagnostic testing. Routine deworming does not guarantee that a puppy is free from every intestinal parasite.
Buyers are responsible for establishing veterinary care and following their veterinarian's recommendations regarding testing, prevention, and treatment after receiving their puppy. Known material health conditions will be disclosed as required by applicable law. Nothing in this section excludes remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.
7. Genetic Health Guarantee
D&C Royal Dachshunds provides a limited genetic health guarantee as described in the individual puppy purchase agreement.
Subject to applicable law, our contractual guarantee is generally limited to a replacement puppy in qualifying cases involving serious, life-threatening or life-altering hereditary conditions, supported by appropriate veterinary documentation.
Any claim must satisfy the requirements specified in the signed purchase agreement, to the extent those requirements are legally enforceable. Our contractual guarantee does not constitute an unlimited promise to reimburse veterinary expenses.
Nothing in our genetic health guarantee limits or replaces any remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable Arizona law.
8. Puppy Pickup, Transportation & Delivery
Pickup and transportation arrangements must be coordinated and approved in advance.
Transportation fees, delivery expenses, and third-party service charges are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Estimated go-home dates may change due to veterinary recommendations, developmental readiness, health concerns, transportation availability, or other circumstances affecting the puppy's welfare. D&C Royal Dachshunds reserves the right to delay release when reasonably necessary to protect the health or safety of the puppy.
9. Buyer Responsibilities
By purchasing a puppy, buyers agree to provide appropriate nutrition, veterinary care, safe housing, socialization, exercise, and a suitable lifelong environment. Buyers are responsible for ongoing medical expenses, preventive care, vaccinations, parasite control, and emergency treatment after taking possession of their puppy, subject to applicable law and any express contractual obligations.
Buyers are encouraged to obtain pet health insurance as early as possible.
10. Registration & Breeding Rights
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, puppies are sold with limited AKC registration and without breeding rights.
Where applicable, registration documentation may be provided after the buyer submits satisfactory proof of spay or neuter, consistent with the signed purchase agreement and applicable law. Unauthorized breeding, misrepresentation of registration rights, or resale contrary to an enforceable purchase agreement may constitute a contractual violation. Full registration or breeding rights are available only when expressly authorized through a separate written agreement.
11. Photography & Website Content
All original website content, including photographs, logos, written descriptions, educational materials, and branding, belongs to D&C Royal Dachshunds or its respective rights holders. Unauthorized reproduction, commercial use, or redistribution of protected content is prohibited without written permission.
12. Accuracy of Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information regarding puppy availability, pricing, pedigree, health testing, and breeding plans.
Information may change, and occasional errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct inaccurate information and update website content. Any changes to an agreed purchase will be handled according to the applicable purchase agreement and law.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, D&C Royal Dachshunds is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. Any contractual limitations concerning puppy purchases are subject to the signed purchase agreement and applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or statutory remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
In the event of a disagreement, both parties are encouraged to communicate in good faith and attempt an informal resolution before pursuing legal proceedings. Nothing in this section prevents either party from exercising legal rights or remedies available under applicable law.
15. Changes to Terms & Conditions
D&C Royal Dachshunds reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions as necessary.
Revised terms will be published on our website with an updated effective date. Changes will not retroactively alter an existing purchase agreement without the parties' agreement or another lawful basis.
16. Acknowledgment & Acceptance
By submitting a puppy reservation or completing a purchase, the buyer acknowledges having been given an opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions.For payment transactions, acknowledgment should be obtained through an affirmative acceptance process before payment is completed.The individual puppy purchase agreement governs additional transaction-specific obligations. Where these Terms conflict with applicable mandatory law, that law controls.
